hrough the magic of Zoom, we will host Commander Mike French for coffee at 09:00 hours. We will have a chance to hear from him – and talk to him – about what it is like leading this iconic, world re-nouned aerial display team which is the quintessential expression of Canadian excellence.
As many will be aware, the Snowbirds are now midway through Operation INSPIRATION – a cross-Canada tour designed to contribute towards inspiring Canadians and keeping our spirits up during this difficult time. Fortunately for us, the timing has worked perfectly for Friday – the Snowbirds will be winging their way west across the Prairies, but Commander French has stopped off in Moose Jaw so will be available to talk to us then.
Our Zoom account limits us to maximum 1,000 guests for Coffee – you may wish to come a few minutes early to avoid disappointment! Oh – and bring your own coffee and snacks. See you then.
A very unfortunate and tragic Snowbirds accident .
I have a favour to ask. There has been some interest among Flight 10 and EAA members in gliding and soaring. Attached is a copy of the spring club newsletter. Would you please consider passing this along to members of your groups. I donât want to send directly to your members lists. Some individual members are on the club contact list and already got the newsletter, but that shouldnât be a problem. Thanks, John Toles Saskatoon Soaring Club (and COPA Flight 10 member)
