Luke and Amanda Taylor have graciously hosted us in the past and are once again opening up their farm runway for our March event that Luke has coined “Fly Day Fun Day” This is a family friendly event so bring your wife and kids (unless this is date night, then leave kids at home to fend for themselves LOL).

So plan your weekend carefully and if weather permits we will meet at the Taylor International Airport this Saturday March 27^th at 2:00 (Sunday March 28^th at 2:00 is the weather alternate).

Luke and Amanda will have coffee on and it will be a fun day to fly out to, but for those that want some more flying we will be doing a few events while there so please plan on doing one, or all of the following:

Flour bombing

Spot Landing

Short Take Off and Landing

Hangar talk

Maybe a local runways flight

Maybe more??

Luke’s place for those that have not been there before is located 8 miles NE of Oxbow at 49.19.27N 102.4.12W and is runway 08-26 and is 1900’ long of beautiful smooth grass that is suitable for all aircraft types (he had a Mooney there for years). Monitor 123.2 Oxbow traffic while in the area. Parking at your discretion near the dugout at the west end of the runway or anywhere in the hay field beside the runway. Please be considerate of Luke’s neighbour’s directly west of the runway as they are ok with the planes, just don’t do any low passes directly over the yard.

Otherwise we look forward to seeing everyone and if your bring snacks or chairs that would be great but no pressure.
